management, counseling, and
group sessions to increase
awareness, reduce risky
behaviors, and embrace family
education. Now serving George,
Jackson, Harrison, and Hancock
Counties, this free service to
the public includes the
following services: Parenting
Skills, Anger Management,
Substance Abuse Prevention,
Abstinence, Focusing on Children
in Separation (FOCIS),
Prevention Against Child Abuse
Campaign, and a Family Resource

south ms drug free coalition
Community assistance in
organizing and mobilizing the
fight against drug and alcohol
abuse. This collaboration in
Harrison County establishes and
strengthens efforts to reduce
substance abuse, especially
among youth. All parts of
society are encouraged to
participate and to work together
to create a sustainable emphasis
on leading healthier and safer

aop
Youth Intervention Services/AOP
(Adolescent Offenders Program)
serve as an alternative for
those involved in the youth
court system to going to
mandated training schools. This
one year program in George,
Jackson, Harrison, and Hancock
Counties works with the courts,
youth, families, and schools to
provide a rounded education
about alternatives to negative
behaviors and is court-ordered.
Youth are able to continue
living with family and attending
school and receive exposure to
various topics and career paths.
