YMCA SUMMER DAY CAMP
For Ages 5-12
Set Sail With Us” is the theme of the
YMCA Summer Day Camps for 2008. Day Camp
will be held from 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.,
Monday – Friday, beginning May 27. Each
week, campers will visit a different
“port of call”, including Shanghai,
Paris, Venice and Calcutta, with themed
activities relating to each port. Camp
locations are as follows:
Ocean Springs
- Youth Activity Center, 2550 Bienville
Blvd., Ocean Springs;
Gautier
– Martin Bluff Elementary, 1306 Roys
Road, Gautier;
Long Beach
– Lovers Lane Christian Fellowship
Church, 5174 Mitchell Road, Long Beach;
Hancock County
– East Hancock Elementary, 4221 Kiln-Delisle
Road, Kiln. The YMCA Summer Day Camps
are for children 5 – 12 years of age.
Costs are $80 per camper per week for
Gautier, Long Beach and Hancock County.
Ocean Springs weekly fees are $70 for
YMCA members and $80 for non-members.
There is also a one-time
Registration/Field Trip Fee of $90 per
camper for all locations. Camp fees
include two snacks daily and all
supplies and equipment. Financial
assistance may be available. For

BEFORE AND
AFTER SCHOOL CARE: for ages 5 to 12 years
The YMCA’s Before and After School Program
provides children with a safe and fun
alternative to staying home alone. The YMCA
is a Christian-based program that is safe,
convenient, creative, family-focused, and
fun! After school pick-up service is
available. Full day holiday camps will be
held from 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM when children
are out of school for Mardi Gras, Spring
Break, Good Friday, Teacher Work Days,
Christmas, and other school holidays.
