FLAG FOOTBALL
FOR AGES 3 TO 10 YEARS
At the Y, boys and girls learn
the fundamentals, the plays and
the rules of flag football, a
sport that stresses fun and
safety. Everyone has the
opportunity to play on teams
that are fun because the
emphasis is on teamwork,
character development and
enjoying the game. This is
football without pressure to
win. Registration begins
December/January.
T-BALL
FOR AGES 3 TO 10 YEARS
Non-competitive fun for boys and
girls. Three age divisions:
KOOSHBALL age 3. MINORS age 4
and 5. MAJORS age 6-8. COACH
PITCH ages 9-10. All teams coed.
Teamwork and fair play
emphasized! Every child plays,
every child bats and no score is
taken. T-shirts, hats and
necessary equipment provided.
All games played at Ocean
Springs Freedom Field.
Registration begins in February.
SOCCER
FOR AGES 3 TO 8 YEARS
Non-competitive fun for boys and
girls. Designed to build each
child’s self-esteem, confidence,
and character and to promote
Christian values. We emphasize
teamwork. Children play the
entire game and no score is
kept. YMCA Micro-Soccer strives
to develop not only athletic
ability, but to also encourage
your child’s personal growth.
Registration begins in August. |
